What do I need to prepare to make UV DTF transfer stickers?
Answer: You need a UV printer and a laminating machine. After purchasing AB film, you can print and make transfer stickers. Our shop sells laminating machines and UV printers.
1. Your UV DTF printer must use hard UV ink. It is not flexible UV ink, otherwise the ink will fall.
2. When printing, set more white ink output, 50% – 200%, and must print white and color ink at the same time.
3. The laminator is heated to 90-120 degrees when covering B film.
What is the difference between DTF printer and UV DTF printer?
Answer: DTF printer is a kind of printer that prints on PET film, sprinkles powder, and transfers to T-shirt using a heat press machine. This printer does not have a UV lamp.
The UV DTF printer is a flatbed printer with UV lamps, referred to as UV printer. It prints on a self-adhesive PET film (A film), and then uses a laminating machine to transfer the pattern to B film, and then paste it on the object. A brand-new transfer sticker method, very convenient and fast.
The two printers and the materials used are completely different.
What is UV DTF?
UV DTF printing is the way to transfer uv ink on the special shape and materials which is not be suitable to print by uv ink directly. It is for the products what are not equest for good bonding strength.
Work Step:
– Use the UV printer to inkjet UV ink on the film A which with glue already
– Laminate the printed film A with Film B by small laminator
– Cut the pattern, remove the covered film A, transfer it on the products surface
Application for UV DTF Printing
Suit for the Products with Irregular shape surface which couldn’t print by uv printer directly
When installing B film in the laminating machine, pay attention to the direction of the film and do not install it wrong.
